Utility Rates for the City of Danbury

  • Water Rates: $5.65 per 1000 gallons metered ($5.65 minimum)
  • Sewer Rates: 50% of water utility
  • Garbage Rates: $9.53 per household plus $.50 per each additional household member
  • Landfill Rates: $1.00 per household member

    Notice:Utility bills are mailed on the first of each month. Payments are due on the 20th of each month. A 1.5% late penalty is assessed to all accounts not paid by the 20th. Automatic payment plans are available.
    Garbage is picked up every Friday morning.
    Recycling is picked up every other Friday morning.
