The Anthon-Oto and Maple Valley Community Schools have signed an agreement with Check Pro to manage any Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) checks written to the schools. Check Pro is a division of Business Management Systems, Inc. in Sioux City, Iowa.
NSF checks will only run through the bank once instead of twice like our current practice. When a check is returned as a NSF check, the check will be sent directly to Check Pro to be collected. There will be a $30 Check Pro charge per NSF check. The districts will not be charged a fee for these services and are paid in full before Check Pro takes their fee.
The next time you visit the school, you will see the Check Pro member stickers posted notifying the public that we are a member.
