Congratulations, LeRoy and Dorene Wonder!

   LeRoy and Dorene (Bennigdorf) Wonder will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sunday, August 6, 2006, at the Schleswig Iowa Community Building beginning at 3:00 p.m. A remembrance program will commence at 5:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend and congratulate the couple. They ask for no gifts, please.
   The Wonder’s children are Rick and Audrey Wonder, Randy and Debby Wonder, Rod and Jane Wonder, and Cathy and David Henningsen. One daughter, Diane (Mrs. Mel Schoeppner) deceased in 1992.
   The couple’s eight grandchildren are Greg, Andrea, April, Ginger, Amber and Amy Wonder and Nicole and Nancy Henningsen. They are blessed with six great grandchildren, Savannah, Austin, Zane, Ethan, Caleb and Caden.
   LeRoy and Dorene were married in Schleswig on September 10, 1946. They farmed in the Danbury-Mapleton area for 45 years.

Congratulations, Earl and Donna!

   Earl and Donna Petersen will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, August 20th at the Community Center in Anthon. Their children will be hosts for the event.
   Donna Albers and Earl Petersen were married on August 10, 1956, at St. Paul Lutheran Church at Battle Creek (Midway). He is retired from farming. She is a homemaker. Together they own and operate U.S.A. Coin Co. in Anthon.
   Their children are Denise Petersen of Avondale, Missouri.; Donita and Dean Getting of Fort Dodge, Iowa.; and Stan and Kathy Petersen and Daron and Holly Petersen all of Danbury, Iowa. Along with their four children, they have seven grandchildren.
