The bride is the daughter of Lee and Lori Schroeder of Oto, Iowa, and the granddaughter of Jack and Sharon Pope of Ute, Iowa and Bernice Schroeder of Oto, Iowa. The groom is the son of John and Dawny Knott of Redding, California and Robert and Carol Marshall of Newark, Ohio.
Included in the wedding party were maid of honor, Abby Carlson, sister of the bride and Renae Schroeder, sister of the bride, Michelle Mockett, sister of the groom, and Jessica Castillo, bridesmaids. Best man was Charles Ernst. Jason Herbert, Dustin Mockett and Paul Milam were the groomsmen. Flower girl was Mariah Castillo and the ring bearer was London Mockett.

St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oto, IA, was the location of the wedding ceremony for Nicole K. Brown and Sean M. Shea. The nuptials were shared on a beautiful Fall day, October 7, 2006, with Msgr. Mark Duchaine and Nicole's uncle, Rev. Dale Brown officiating.
The bride's parents are Sheila Mefford of Sioux City, IA, and Duane and Annette Brown of Correctionville, IA. Her grandparents are Marlene and the late Raymond Schumann of Battle Creek, IA, Lloyd and Elaine Brown of Sioux City, IA, and Pearl and Arlo Suhr of Correctionville, IA.
The groom's parents are John and Diane Shea of Douglas, WY. His grandparents are Ernest and Alma Vander Heiden of Sanborn, IA, the late Francis & Don Blanford of Casper, WY, and the late John Shea of Casper, WY.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. Her sister, Amy Brown was the Maid of Honor. Nicole's sisters, Amber Nelson, Laura Nelson and Andrea Nelson were the bridesmaids. The flower girl was the couple's friend, Jayce Ingram. The bride's personal attendant was Christine Collins, friend of the couple.
The groom's brother, Patrick Shea was the Best Man. The groomsmen were Sean's brother, Brian Shea; and Nicole's brothers, Michael Nelson and Robert Brown. Nicholas Collins, a friend of the couple, was the ring bearer.
The ushers were Frank Weber, Ron Weber and Joe Collins, friends of the couple. The lector was Lee Schroeder, friend of the couple. Mary Jo Watson, friend of the couple, was the pianist.
Following a honeymoon trip to Wisconsin, the couple is making their home in rural Woodbury County.
