On June 23rd, when the parade is over and you are looking for some free entertainment, head on over to the old school grounds! Besides the car show, Memory Lane and the quilt show, there will be a karaoke contest for all brave singers.
There is no charge to participate, so come on over and sing your little heart out! Contestants will be rated by the audience, and voting will be tallied by the city clerk. Prizes will be awarded at 5:00 p.m. and will consist of a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places. The prize for 3rd place will be a 125th T-Shirt; 2nd place will be a 125th T-Shirt and a pair of tickets for entry into the Rumbles dance, and 1st place will get a 125th T-Shirt, a pair of tickets for entry into the Rumbles dance and a trophy.
The prizes are great! The entertainment is free! We look forward to seeing you there!
