The celebration of the 125th anniversary of Danbury's incorporation is not far away, June 22, 23, and 24. Plans are coming together and the celebration should be packed with a lot of fun for everyone, all ages included.
The weekend will filled with a variety of activities. Golfing on Friday night; parades, games, karaoke, quilts, memorabilia, and dancing on Saturday; and omelets and volleyball on Sunday should keep the weekend busy.
With a project of this magnitude there comes a need for a lot of help, but currently there are not enough people to go around to fill all of the positions. We need men and boys to help set up fence for the dance. At the dance we need people to serve food, bartenders, cashiers, and high school kids to sell pop. We have set up schedules of two hour shifts, so that if you work you will still be able to participate in the festivities. Please view this schedule in this week's Review and contact someone to help out.
