The Friends of the Library hosted their June bake sale at Cord Memorial Library on June 2nd. The bake sale goods came and went quickly, and with Annetta Bjorholm as our cashier, we netted a total of $55. This month’s contributions and donations were received from Annetta Bjorholm, Jan Wolterman, Karen Kingsbury, Betty Lansink, Pat Barry, Rita Fitzpatrick, Helen Pithan, Kathy Dirksen, and JoLynn Wright. Thank you to all the friends for supporting the library.
The next bake sale will be hosted on July 7th from 10:00 until all is gone. Come in and check us out.
This month we received book donations from Mary Wolterman, Margaret Twitchell, and Lynn Hamers. Thank you, ladies, for your support of our library.
Story hour will be starting soon for the kids. Get a Clue @ Your Library is this year’s theme. Each story hour consists of stories read, a craft and treats for all kids in attendance. July 5, 12, 19, and 26 are the schedule story hours, all starting at 2:00 and finishing by 3:00. Story hour is open for all kids, kindergarten through the fourth grade.
