Hamann, Wilbur Exchange Marriage Vows

   Amber Faith Hamann of Danbury, IA, daughter of Lynn and Calene Hamann of Danbury, IA, and John Lee Wilbur II of Ruthven, IA, son of Tina and Wayne Ingram of Ruthven, IA and the late John Wilbur were united in marriage on Saturday June 30, 2007 at St. Mary's Church in Danbury, IA. Father Roder officiated the double ring ceremony.
   The bride's dress was a Maggie Sottero delustered satin, one-piece, A-line corset backed gown. Starburst gathers were scattered across the entire skirt and embellished with crystals. The neckline was accented with a fabric band which reached asymmetrically at the side and was sprinkled with crystals. She wore a crystal tiara in her hair and carried a bouquet of white and pink roses and lilies wrapped in pink satin ribbon. The bride entered the church with her mother and father to the music "Parent's Prayer."
   The maid of honor was Amber's sister, Shaun Winkel of Holstein, IA, and attendants were Christen Brown of Castana, IA, Samantha Wenger of Danbury, IA, Denise Theesfeld of Estherville, IA and Brittany Hamann of Ida Grove, IA. They wore floor length black satin dresses accented with pink trim, and Brittany wore a pink satin dress accented in black. They carried bouquets of pink and white roses and lilies.
   The Best man was John's brother Michael Wilbur of Ruthven, IA, and groomsmen were Joseph Knoer of Ruthven, IA, Anthony Scott of Ruthven, IA, Jesse Gonzales of Estherville, IA, John Wallace of Ruthven, IA, and Joshua Hamann of Ida Grove, IA.
   The Flower Girl was Olivia Mazurek of Minnesota. Ring Bearers were Kole and Dayne Winkel of Holstein, IA. Ushers were Dustin Winkel of Holstein, IA, Shawn Trosper of Sioux City, IA , and Thad Trosper of Omaha, NE.
   The groom wore a white pin stripped tuxedo with light pink vest and tie with 2 white roses. The ring bearers also wore white pin stripped tuxedos and the groomsmen, ushers, and fathers wore black pin stripped tuxedos with pink vest and tie.
   The mother of the bride wore a black skirt with satin finish and pink jacket, and the groom's mother wore a pink dress with pink jacket.
   Grandparents of the bride are Carl and Leona Simmons of Danbury, IA, and the grandmother of the groom is Augusta Overeen of Spencer, IA.
   Kristi Gieseman of Des Moines, IA and Kim Mazurek of Minnesota were lectors. Flower attendants were Barbara Moser and Charlotte Trosper. The Guest Book Attendant was Theresa Simmons.
   Best man Michael Wilbur and groomsman John Wallace sang "In This Very Room" during the lighting of the unity candle.
   The reception was held at the Ida Grove Skate Palace with Wesley Simmons, Tina Peters, and Julie Tatman serving as host and hostesses. The tables were decorated with black tablecloths, pink candles on pink pucca shells, and sea shells and silver tinsel. The cake was topped with a Mario and Princess cake top "the couple's favorite Nintendo characters." A dance followed the reception with the couple dancing their first dance to "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol.
   The bride and groom are both graduates of Iowa Lakes Community College in Estherville, IA, with an AA degree. After a honeymoon to the Wisconsin Dells, the couple moved to their new home in Colorado Springs, CO.




Maurer, Seuntjens Exchange Marriage Vows

   Sarah Elizabeth Maurer and Charles Andrew Seuntjens were married on July 28, 2007 in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, at the St. Mary's Of The Lakes Catholic Church.
   Sarah is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. James Maurer of Port Charlotte, Florida, and Charlie is the son of Neal and Sharon Seuntjens of Mapleton.
   The couple currently resides in Owatonna, Minnesota, where Charlie is employed as an attorney for Federated Mutual Insurance Company in Owatonna and Sarah is employed as an attorney for the Ibeling Hafemeyer LTD Law Firm in Faribault, Minnesota.
