Captain Ruggiero is married to Becky, the granddaughter of Shirley and the late Merle Wright of Danbury and the daughter of Judy and Tim McAndrew of Omaha. Captain Ruggiero has been in Iraq since December 2, 2007, and is scheduled to come home in February of 2009.
