On July 12th the wrestling portion of the 2008 Iowa Games was held in Guthrie Center with more than 250 participants. Wrestlers ranged from junior high level through college and the over 30 class.
   Isaac Jessen wrestled in the junior high class. Cole Holton, Nolan Kafton, Sam Hansen, and Ricky Maynard wrestled in the high school division. Tim Jessen participated in the over 30 division.
   Those receiving gold medals qualify to participate in the National Games in Denver, Colorado, in 2009. Tim Jessen qualified to advance to the National Games. Congratulations!
   These wrestlers have shown a dedication above the average by attending summer open mats, attending the Iowa Games and going to wrestling camps throughout the summer. We look forward to the leadership of these young men as the fall wrestling season begins.
