   David and Stacy Pithan of Anthon would like to announce the birth of their daughter, Emma Grace. Emma was born on January 8, 2009, at 7:04 p.m. at St. Lukes Hospital in Sioux City. She weighed 8lb. 6.5oz. and was 19.5” long.
   Grandparents are Allan and Polly Pithan of Anthon and Kirk and Julie Bollig of Mapleton. Great grandparents are Albert and Marian Sevening of Anthon, Helen Pithan of Danbury and Leo Bollig of Sioux City.

   Nicole and Sean Shea of Danbury are proud to announce the birth of their firstborn, Kristen Marie. Kristen was born on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at 7:29 p.m. at Mercy Medical Hospital in Sioux City. She weighed 7 lbs., 2 oz. and was 20" long.
   Kristen's proud grandparents are Sheila Mefferd of Sioux City, Duane and Annette Brown of Correctionville, and John and Diane Shea of Douglas, WY. Her great grandparents are Marlene Schumann of Battle Creek, Lloyd and Elaine Brown of Sioux City, Ernest Vander Heiden of Sanborn, and Arlo and Pearl Suhr of Correctionville.

   Justin and Stephanie Pawlowski of Danbury welcomed their firstborn at 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2009. Anthony Justin was born at Horn Memorial Hospital and weighed 8 lbs., 11 oz. and was 20 3/4" long.
   Proud grandparents are John and Tammi Snow of Danbury, Bob and Pat Schossow of Rodney, Matt and Traci Pawlowski of Danbury, and Rex and Tammy Germany of Christianberg, VA.

   Becky and Nick Engdahl of Kasson, MN, are proud to announce the birth of their first-born, Emma Jean. Emma was born on Friday, December 19, 2008, at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN. She weighed 6 lbs. 12 1/2 oz. and was 19" long.
