Willow Dale Wellness Village staff and residents are excited to announce that Nicole Parr has been selected as February Employee of the Month.
Nicole, the only daughter of Deb & Rex Morgan, was born in Onawa, Iowa. Rounding out the Morgan family is older brother, Jesse and his wife, Gaila. Nicole spent most of her childhood in the Oto and Danbury areas. When she was 10 years old, Nicole’s family moved to Battle Creek. In 2002, Nicole graduated from BC/IG High School.
While still in high school Nicole joined the Willow Dale family as a dietary aide. In March of 2002, she moved to a cook position. Deciding to make a career of food service, Nicole completed the required dietary supervisory classes & became the food service supervisor in November of 2006.
Nicole married her sweetheart, Daniel Parr, on October 23, 2004. After living in several homes in the Mapleton area, Daniel and Nicole purchased their dream home in Mapleton this spring. Although they don’t have any children yet, they thoroughly enjoy spoiling their dogs, Taz, a pug, Bailey, a Boston terrier, Sammy, a hunting German shorthair, and Brooke, a lab/boxer mix.
In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with animals and mushroom hunting in the Loess Hills. Spending time outdoors is also at the top of her list.
Nicole calls Willow Dale her “home away from home”. She loves spending time with the elderly and seeing the difference and impact she can have on their lives.
