St. Mary's to Celebrate 100th Anniversary

St. Mary’s Parish of Danbury will be celebrating the 100th anniversary of its church building in 2010. Plans are underway for this celebration.
There will be a meeting on Monday, July 13th at 7:00 p.m. at Danbury Catholic School for anyone interested in helping with the plans. Please consider attending.
The parish will be offering a beautiful sun catcher ornament as a memento, in remembrance of this milestone. The sun catcher ornament will come in a gift box and is made of glass with a beveled edge and will have the sketching of St. Mary’s Catholic Church on it.
This ornament will make great gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, Christmas and special occasions. This ornament looks great hanging on a stand, window, chandelier, Christmas tree or wreath and can be displayed year round. This ornament is made right here in Iowa. Compliments go to Wullbrandt Studio of Hampton.
The cost of the ornament will be $20.00 with a $3.00 shipping fee for each ornament needing to be mailed. The ornament will be available July 1, 2009. Those attending the Alumni Reunion will have the opportunity to pick up their ornaments that weekend.
Please place your order now by sending payment to Jerry and Babe McBride, Box 88, Danbury, IA 51019. Please indicate if you wish your ornament mailed or if you plan to pick it up. Please make payment to St. Mary’s Parish.
Ornaments are also available at Janet's Beauty Shop, The Carousel, and First State Bank in Danbury. Any other business that is interested in displaying these ornaments is asked to contact Jerry or Babe.
Babe has a few stands available on which this ornament can be hung. These stands are $4.50 each.
