4-H Carnival To Hold Fun For All Woodbury County Youth

Step right up! Games, crafts and animals will all be a part of the first 4-H Carnival hosted Sunday, Oct. 11 by Iowa State University Extension-Woodbury County. The event will be held at the Extension parking lot located at 4301 Sergeant Rd. in Sioux City from 2:30 Ð 4 p.m. and will include fun for kids of all ages.
“4-H members achieve the highest results when their family is involved,” said Iowa State University (ISU) Extension-Woodbury County Youth Coordinator Lujean Faber. “The 4-H Carnival is designed for young people and their families to have fun together while learning about 4-H.” Youth who are currently in fourth through twelfth grades can join 4-H.
Along with the carnival games during the October 11 event, families will be able to meet area club leaders as well as learn what current members are doing in 4-H.
“If you have ever been curious about whether or not 4-H is for the young people in your family, this is a great opportunity to personally see what your family can gain from being in 4-H.”
This event is open to all youth who have an interest in having fun and learning more about 4-H. Admission is free of charge.
