    The Rams began their volleyball season on August 28th in Sloan against the Rebels and the Wolverines.
    For the night, Caitlee Koenigs was the leader in assists with 14, Chloe Hamman led the team in kills, Madelyn Petersen was the leader in blocks with 6, and Brenna Mammen was the leader in digs with 15 and serves with 17.

    The Rams traveled to Holstein to take on the Raptors. The guests made the hosts work for their wins but were swept 0-3.
    Irelynne McNamara led the Rams in assists with 20 and in serves with 13. Chloe Hamman was the ace leader with 3. Marley Scott and Caitlee Koenigs shared leadership in kills with 5 each. Madi Petersen was the block leader with 3. Brenna Mammen led in digs with 13.

August 30th AHSTW Tournament

    The Rams had a busy day at the AHSTW tournament on August 30th. The team played against 6 other teams on this day.
    For the day, Irelynne McNamara lead the team in assists with 79 and serves with 55. She and Chloe Hamman lead in ace serves with 5 each. Hamman added 10 digs and 23 serves. Madi Petersen pounded down 41 kills and also led in blocks with 11. She also had 31 serves as did Caitlee Koenigs. Bryndall Paterson contributed 16 kills. Brenna Mammen led in digs with 45 and added 24 serves. Olivia Pithan served 10 balls over the net, and Delani Welte got down for 11 digs. Marley Scott contributed 25 serves and 23 kills.

    The Rams traveled to Raider country where they accumulated their third win in three games. Four touchdowns were earned by the Ram boys before the half and before the Raiders put any points on the board.
    The Rams crossed into the end zone 8 times in this game. Manny Cameron's 93 yard sprint for 6 was the longest and fastest TD. Xavier Folk also had a good fun for a touchdown, his a paltry 39 yards. Jake Scott pushed through the mob for a 4-yard TD while Cade Schmidt did a quarterback sneak to get his 1-yard touchdown. On the passing side of scoring, Scott nabbed a 28-yard throw for a touchdown. Adlyr Redenius had a shorter catch, 4 yards. Tanner Dixon caught two TD passes, the longest being a nice 27 yard catch.
    Defensively, Bram Bielenberg had a nice night with a forced fumble which he jumped on. He also had 5 tackles. Grant McElmuray led in tackles with 7. He, Blake Maack, and Ace Staley all were credited with tackles for losses. Ace Staley and Joey Dundee both sacked the Raider QB.

    The Rams traveled to Lawton where they were handed their first loss in an exciting game against the Eagles. Their first quarter field goal proved to be the difference in points between the two teams.
    The Rams did put 3 touchdowns on the board, two via passes from Cade Schmidt and one via a running game. Manny Cameron was the player to get the rushing TD. Tanner Dixon's 37 yard pass reception was the longest TD for the Rams, not to be outdone by the 24 yard pass to Adlyr Redenius. Joey Koithan added a 24-yard field goal and a couple PATs.
    On the defensive end of the game, Jake Scott had an interception, stripped the ball to force a fumble and grabbed the fumble, and had 4 1/2 tackles. Bo Clausen also caught an interception. Bram Bielenberg was a tackle beast with 9 including a tackle for a loss. Redenius also was beastly with 7 1/2 tackles, one as a sack and one for a loss of yardage. Jerrell Dean-Byas contributed 5 1/2 tackles. Ace Staley recorded 3 tackles for losses in her 4 total tackles. Ryan Parker also recorded a tackle for a loss.
