My Favorite Winter Memory By: Weston Scheer My favorite winter memory is snowmobiling with my dad. We took it on the road, and we went really fast and about over 80 miles an hour. It was fun going that fast. Then, after getting off the road, we went into the field and drifted around. My dad had to do some stuff, so he hopped off and let me drive. I saw this really big snow pile, so I drove and ramped it and got really high in the air. It was fun ramping in the air really high. I went into the field and went around for a little bit. My dad got done with the stuff that he was doing, so when I was driving, he got in my grandpa's pickup and drove around in that. It was doing good in the snow for an old 1997 Chevy pickup. My snowmobile is a 2007 Arctic Cat. Then, I got bored of the snowmobile, and I went inside and had some hot cocoa and played video games with my friends. My Favorite Winter Memory By: Daxton Kafton It all started when I was five years old. I woke up around 6:00 am. I was so happy we got a trampoline. We got nerf guns and socks. I had a good Christmas. We ate chocolate that night. Santa came over and gave us suckers and candy. He was just a guy dressed in a Santa costume. My Favorite Christmas Memory By: Warren Emmett Coll Sexton Once upon a time on a dark Christmas Eve, I was going to bed, and I was so excited. Then …. I fell asleep. I learned that if you go to sleep faster, then you sleep through the night, and it will feel like 10 minutes. It is so cool. Then, when I came down the stairs in the morning, there were like 100 PRESENTS. I was so excited. After a ton of presents later, my present was… drum roll please… it was a new…. TABLET. I was so happy. I was on it for hours. I had TONS OF APPS and, parents this is between you and me, but if you want your kids happy, get them a tablet or a phone. Trust me, it works. My Favorite Winter Memory By: Ezra Schaffer My favorite memory during winter break is building tiny robots. Some day I want to use it in the military, because it would be a great useful thing to help protect the country. I just like to play with them and see what they can do when I get a chance to play with them. They are going to be able to help out a lot of things in the world. I hope I can be an engineer someday because it will help the whole world in about the first time in the world's biggest thing that has happened to the world. I think we will have a better future if we use the tiny robots in the world. Think how it will help the world in the future and everything will be fine with you and your family and all the world. Parents, think of how much time you would get instead of working all the time, and then you could have more time to play with your family and friends, and go out to eat with your family and friends. I think you will like the way I think. We can do more things in life than just one thing all day. Then you could be more than just one person in the middle of the ocean, just a little spec in the ocean. I think you don't need to worry so much, and pick the best option for you and your family and get the robots. |
My Favorite Christmas Memory By: Eastyn Reed Last year, in 2024, on Christmas, I woke up to big presents, and when I say big, I mean it! I got a hover board that is broken right now, and I also got led lights, a new room arrangement, clothes, and a car set. When I got on my hover board, I was pretty good at it, and later when I was on it, I was zooming around the house and that's the end. My Favorite Winter Memory By: Austin Jensen I was hauling cows to a corn field. It was the 15th of December when we hauled the cows to the field. There was a lot of snow that day. We used two trailers to haul the cows. The cows loved the corn field a lot. My Favorite Wintertime Memory By: Kenzii Mayo My favorite winter memory is when I went sledding with my friend at the Mapleton football field hill. I decided to sled down on a trash can lid while spinning, and I fell off a ledge and did a backflip! I passed out for like 2 seconds haha! After a little bit of sledding we decided to go play around and explore. We walked around and saw a kitty pool filled with water, but it was frozen. My friend wanted to jump on it and well, she did. It turned out it was a thin layer of ice, and she fell in the water. I burst out laughing while she was getting up soaking wet. We started walking home when we saw a mouse running around the snow, and we tried to catch it. We made footprints all over the snow while trying to catch the mouse. After like 20 minutes, we finally caught it! It was a baby mouse, and it was a boy. After that, we let him go and went home. We had breakfast, and we watched a movie and had popcorn and hot cocoa. This is my favorite wintertime memory I've had. My Favorite Christmas Memory By: Graham LeFebvre A Christmas memory I will never forget was when I got a phone. I also got a football and it was signed by Tyreek Hill. I was 9 years old when I got that stuff. And I got a orbee gun. This was the best Christmas ever. My Favorite Winter Memory By: Jett Goslar My favorite winter memory is playing a game where you have kitchen mittens on. You try getting coins out of a ball with numbers on them. Then, when all the coins are out, my mom would say the numbers and the person with that number on their coin gets that present with the numbers on them. It's a yearly tradition that we always do. I usually don't get any coins, but my dad gives me one. You have to have strong fingers to get them out and be tough. Merry Christmas and happy holidays. |
My Favorite Winter Memory By: Brittlee Mullin My most memorable memory in winter is when me and my dog Toots would go play in the snow together. We would climb the snow pile, and then we would go cuddle inside together. We would go inside for a bit, and then I would come right back outside to play with Toots. Then, I would go make angels in the snow with my sister Hattie and Toots. My Favorite Christmas Memories By: Vivian Scholl One of my all time favorite memories is when all of my family came to my house for Christmas. After we watched Christmas vacation and opened presents, we played games. The games we played were not just any old board games! We played games that my aunt made herself. One was that she found random stuff from around her house as the prizes that she wrapped in saran wrap. In 30 seconds, you had oven mitts on, and you had to unwrap the ball. Another one was, you and a partner. My partner was my cousin Lucas, and you both had a balloon and seven cups and you had to blow the balloon so that it was in the shape of the cup to stack them. All in all, it was so fun to connect with my family! I hope to do it again this year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Opening Christmas Presents With My Cousins By: Liam Witzel I was opening something from my uncle. I was shocked by what my uncle got me. He got me a ps5. There was a game called gang beast. Me and my cousins were playing it. We all had a great time with each other. My Favorite Christmas Memory By: Maelee Mohr One Christmas Eve, I asked my parents if I could open one of my presents early. They said I could wait until the morning, but I was very impatient when I was little. So we set up milk and cookies for Santa. We gave him chocolate, hot cocoa, marshmallows, and cookies. The next morning, Bella, our elf, was gone and we had a bunch of presents under the tree. Then, we opened present youngest to oldest, so I was last. It was ok though. First, Myles opened his presents. He got some Sonic and Minecraft stuff. He liked the stuff he got. Then, Maverick got the same stuff as Myles. They liked it. Then, it was my turn. I was so excited! I opened my gifts, and I got makeup, skin care, a desk and cute clothes. My mom told me to open my last couple gifts. I was so excited she gave it and I opened it and it was bird food. I started to cry. I was so happy. I have loved birds for a really long time. Then, I opened the other ones. They were bird toys and a cage. The next day, we went to pet smart and got two birds. I named them Katie and Zoey. Zoey died though, but I still have Katie. That was my favorite Christmas memory ever. |
My Favorite Christmas Memory and Tradition By Avery Golden My favorite memory of Christmas is when I got a present. I think it was 2021, but I am not sure. It was……. A guinea pig! I loved having a guinea pig. Her name was Princess. Now my favorite tradition. First, we open one present on Christmas Eve. Then on Christmas morning, we open one present and eat breakfast then we open the rest of the presents. Next, we get ready for the day and go to my grandma and grandpa's house with my family. Then, eat lunch and we usually have ham and mashed potatoes, the kind of stuff mostly everyone eats on Christmas. After all of that, we open presents with everyone. It is so fun. I always love what my grandma and grandpa get me! Then we usually have dessert. I LOVE my grandma's dessert. And that is my favorite Christmas memory and tradition. One of My Favorite Christmas Memories By: Illona Moffat One of my favorite Christmas memories is when I was about 5 or 6 years old, and we were on what was probably my first Polar Express ride. While on the train, we saw loads of these giant props and inflatables that lit up. It was so fun. At the end of the ride, we got to go to Santa's workshop and get giant candy canes and cups of hot chocolates bigger than my face. While at Santa's workshop, we got to "meet" Santa and the elves. We got a ton of chocolates. We also got to stay up past midnight, I think. That is my favorite Christmas memory. My Favorite Memory By: Bodie Uhl Is when my family went on a trip to the beach. It was me, my mom, my dad and my brothers. When we got there, we went into the room, then I ran out to the beach and jumped into the water and it was cold. Then, it was dark outside and we went to catch crabs. We did not get anything. I was really happy to go to the beach! My Favorite Christmas Gift By: Addison Schrader My favorite Christmas gift was when me and Charlie were opening presents, and we kept getting summer toys like; goggles, sandcastle things, water buckets, coverups, beach dresses, and sandals. Then we went downstairs to open our special present, and it was a new suitcase. I asked, "Mom, are we going somewhere warm?" She said, "YES!!" Me and Charlie asked where we were going. Mom said, "In 2 weeks we are going to fly to Florida, and then we are going to go on a cruise ship to Mexico. We will be there for a week." Charlie asked, "Is anyone going with us?" Dad said, "Matt, Chelsea, Schalee, Harper, Grandma, Grandpa, Lexy, Abry, Nate, and Ally." Me and Charlie were so excited we could not wait. That was my favorite Christmas gift. |
