The Rams and Panthers gave the fans an amazing game to watch. The game included two final second baskets, both in the Ram's favor. With three seconds left in the third, Irelynne McNamara passed the ball to Maddie Petersen waiting under the basket who put the ball up and in as the buzzer sounded, giving the Rams a 5 point deficit after three. The other final second was in the final quarter. With 2 1/2 minutes left in the game, the Rams took a 1 point lead. This lead, of course didn't last as the Panthers also put in their shots. With 1:13 left, the Rams were again down by 3. They stayed calm and kept playing, putting in a bucket to change the score to a 1-point gap. Fifty-eight seconds had the Rams down by 2. Bryndall Paterson tied the game, and 7 seconds were left with the Panthers in possession of the ball. A timeout forced the Panthers to throw the ball in, and McNamara used her defensive talents to keep the Panthers on edge. The Ram defense forced the Panthers to try to put the ball into play three times. The third attempt was fruitful for the home girls as the Panthers tossed it past the players and into the stands, handing the ball to the Rams on their side of the court. The clock was now down to 2.7 seconds. The Rams had no time to spare. Only .9 seconds remained on the clock as McNamara let the ball go, the fate of the game in the air as the buzzer sounded. A basket gave the Rams the win, and a miss put the game into overtime. The gym burst into cheers by the Ram fans as the ball moved the net as it passed through the basket, giving them the win.
Paterson led the team in scoring with 18 points and in stealing with 5 steals. Maddie Petersen was the rebound leader with 11 and the block leader with 3. Irelynne McNamara took leadership in assists with 8 and tossed in 12 points. Kaia Collins added 14 points.
