The Rams traveled to Battle Creek for the first round of the Western Valley Conference softball tournament. With the Rams with a 6-17 record and the Falcons with a 12-4 record, the guests had an uphill climb statistically to win and continue in the championship bracket. Unfortunately, the top of the hill was too high for them to reach.
For the second consecutive game, Bryndall Paterson rounded the bases with a home run. That homer was the only Ram run.
Brynn Jacobson got the loss at the helm. Pitching to 31 battters, she struck out 2, walked 2, and allowed 13 hits and 10 runs.
