The Rams traveled to Warrior Country on September 25th and had a great game, including keeping the timer going for awhile using the 35-point difference rule (with a 35-point difference, the clock doesn't stop except for time outs, flags, scores, or injuries).    The big lead allowed a good number of JV players to get some play time in a varsity atmosphere.
Bo Clausen ran the ball for a couple touchdowns, the longest being all of 3 yards. Jake Scott caught a 59 yard bomb for a TD. He also ran nearly the length of the football field not once, but twice, as he ran two kickoffs back for touchdowns. Bram Bielenberg caught a bigger bomb, a 74 yarder as one of his two touchdown catches. Cohen McMartney's touchdown catch was only 8 yards, but it was worth the same as the much longer catches, 6 points.
Leading in receptions was Bielenberg with 163 total yards over 5 catches. Scott added 95 yards over 6 catches. Clausen led rushing with 60 yards over 11 carries.
Xavier Folk led the team in tackles with 7 1/2 while Bram Bielenberg added 6 tackles. Lincoln Gotto and Michael Sorensen each recorded a tackle for a loss. Jake Scott was a tackle beast, recording loss of yardages in 3 of his 4 tackles.
The Rams also recorded three interceptions on this night, one each from Cohen McCartney, Hudson Bruhn, and Kobe Krause. McCartney's pick gave the Rams a great 39 yard gain for their new sets of downs.
