Danbury was the location for eating on the streets and in a school and for kicking up your heels to some tunes. The Danbury Fire Department held their annual BBQ/street dance, and St. Mary's Rosary Society held their annual chicken dinner over the weekend.
Saturday found tables replacing fire trucks at the fire station as people fled to the scene of the supper. Brats and burgers were accompanied by the usual sides to fill hungry tummies and thirsty people. As the sun began to set, Over the Border got the place rocking with their music.
On Sunday, Danbury Catholic's gymnasium took center stage as chicken and its sides were set out for the patrons to feast upon. Staley's kept the food flowing with help from the Rosary Society members.
