Karaoke Contest at 125th Celebration

   On June 23rd, when the parade is over and you are looking for some free entertainment, head on over to the old school grounds! Besides the car show, Memory Lane and the quilt show, there will be a karaoke contest for all brave singers.

Danbury City Wide Garage Sales June 23

   There will be a city wide garage sale held on June 23, 2007. Yes, this is the same day as the celebration for the 125th anniversary of the City of Danbury.

Who's the Oldest Danbury Resident Alive?

A Variety of Activities Planned For June 22-24 Celebration

   Do you know the oldest person, both male and female, in Danbury? How about the oldest person both in Danbury or in either Willow Dale or Maple Heights who was from Danbury? We'd like to know who they are! If you have any ideas of the oldest people from here, please let Linda Colbert know at 883-2251.

125th Queen Contest To Begin Next Week

   Danbury's 125th anniversary celebration is getting close, and one of the first activities is voting for the queen and princess. Beginning Monday, June 11, anyone having either a Danbury address and/or phone number and are age 18 and older will be able to vote. You will be required to sign the ballot which will be found at either precinct (Colbert's Market or Danbury C-Store). It will also be printed in next week's Review.

Danbury Fun Night at Golf Course

   The Danbury 125th celebration committee will be hosting a Danbury Fun Night of golf on Friday, June 22, 2007, at the Willow Vale Golf Course in Mapleton.

Parade Entries Wanted

   It's time to be planning floats and parade entries and getting your candy-throwing arm (if you wish) ready to go. The 125th Anniversary Parade will be marching down Main Street on June 23rd. Parade entries are needed. It has been suggested that each business put in a float this year to celebrate our community.

   We need lots of help for the 125th celebration. PLEASE help us. A reminder: This does qualify for community service for all Confirmation students at St. Mary's.
